The End of XP or is IT?
As most of us know Windows XP will stop support on April 8th, 2014. This operating system had a good 14-year run and will still keep going until some systems finally suffer from hardware failure. Do you need a new computer now? Probably not. Here is a list of questions with answers that should fit your needs.
Do I need to update to Windows 7? If your computer is at least a dual-core processor and has 4GB of RAM then you should. Your computer can handle it and your user experience will be 10 times better.
What if my computer doesn’t have the requirements for upgrading? If this is the case then you should download the latest updates to XP, download a better internet browser like Firefox or Chrome and discontinue using Internet Explorer. Your computer still has some good time left. Save it and use it until the hard drive fails and then get a new computer.
